Lets talk about making your life just a little bit better, what would you like to achieve today? No-matter how large or small it might be, if you were able to achieve it what would it mean to you? We all have this amazing set of skills but are often too frightened to use them, why can’t we get that job done? Are there too many adverse thoughts? For some this is a really difficult thing to overcome for others we just need a bit of courage.
Take a moment to settle and calm your self, ask your self what is the something I could do today that would help me make my life a little bit better? Ok sounds easy enough, then the not good enough and distraction statements arrive. I just need to look up…….how good is social media for distraction, I’ll do it when it feels right. I don’t have the confidence to do it, I’ll do it after I do…..
Courage. Do we wait until we feel confidant before we do something. Where does confidence come from? Confidence is something we gain over time by achieving things. To achieve things we need courage. I’m not saying things need to be hard and extremely challenging, just adding a bit of courage in the mix, have the courage to ask you self how to complete a task, then have the courage to listen to the answer. That may involve asking for help, gaining a better understanding of the task, or just picking up the phone. Only you will know when you have the courage to ask and listen to your self, it’s your journey and your task after all.
Confidence. Have you ever noticed when you complete a task allowing yourself to feel rewarded comes with a sense of confidence. Allow your self time to bask in your new found confidence, then take on the next task.
