What we do

Who am I

Hi, I’m the heart behind Life of Healing — a calm, supportive space for women who are tired of holding everything together (and wondering where they put the “together” in the first place).

My life has been full and varied — from the creative industries and teaching overseas, to sport, family ups and downs, and years of putting everyone else first. In the midst of it all, I lost touch with myself. I forgot what it meant to truly care for me — not just on the surface, but deeply and honestly.

The turning point came when I realised I didn’t just need a break.
I needed healing — the kind that soothes the nervous system, clears emotional clutter, and reconnects you with who you really are.

That led me to train in healing approaches that I now share with my clients:

  • Intention Tapping – a calming process to release stress and restore balance

  • Identity Healing – gentle work with the old patterns we never chose but still carry

  • Osteodouce – soft bodywork that speaks directly to your nervous system

  • Dowsing for Body and Mind Healing – subtle, powerful, and restorative support

  • Counselling – I’m currently completing training to deepen this offering

Today, I walk alongside women who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or simply over it. If that’s you, please know: you’re not alone — and you don’t have to find your way back alone.

Healing isn’t a sign of failure. It’s a choice to feel better, calmer, clearer, and more connected.
And your nervous system will thank you for it.

Intention Tapping (IEP)

Intention Tapping blends the principles of energy psychology, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and the power of intention to gently release stress, emotional blocks, and limiting beliefs. By lightly tapping on specific acupressure points while holding a clear intention, this method helps the mind and body let go of old patterns and emotional clutter.

Many people find Intention Tapping brings a sense of calm, clarity, and emotional freedom. It can support resilience, shift unhelpful energy patterns, and align your thoughts with the outcomes you truly want — opening space for healing and personal growth.

Best of all, it’s simple to learn and take home, so you can use it anytime — and even share it with your family.

Dowsing:

Dowsing is a gentle, powerful way to uncover hidden blocks in your body, mind, and energy. It works beautifully with other healing methods to create subtle, profound shifts.

You don’t need to share your deep dark secrets — just set a clear intention of what you want to achieve. Using a pendulum, I tune into your energy patterns, identify what’s holding you back, and gently clear those blocks.

Dowsing can also help with house clearing, removing stagnant energy from your space to support wellbeing. It’s simple to learn, easy to use at home, and can even benefit your family.

 Food Cravings.

Do you ever eat to feel better — because you’re nervous, stressed, or just a little “meh”? Maybe your full button is broken, or you haven’t felt true hunger in ages. You eat, feel better… then too full… then somehow still want more. Sound familiar? Welcome to the crazy cycle of cravings.

Most cravings target sugar, salt, processed carbs, and fats — think chocolate, chips, cake, soft drinks… and probably your personal favourites too. Fun fact: processed foods are designed to be addictive (not quite like alcohol or cigarettes, but sneaky enough).

I’ve been there too. Dessert after dinner? Sometimes three servings before the restless feeling finally went away. After exploring those feelings, I’ve learned to notice what my body is really asking for and make conscious choices — sometimes dessert, sometimes not, always with awareness.

With guidance, you can understand your cravings, break the cycle, and regain control — without guilt or shame. And yes, it’s possible to do this while still enjoying cake.

(Always check with your doctor to rule out any underlying medical issues.)

Feeling “Not Good Enough”

The feeling of “I’m not good enough” is more common than you think. Our minds can replay past experiences or launch into a never-ending stream of self-criticism: What if I fail? What if I embarrass myself? What if I’m not successful? What if I’m not loved? The “what ifs” can pile up so high it feels impossible to move forward.

This mindset can fuel self-doubt, insecurity, and fear of failure, holding you back from embracing opportunities, trusting your abilities, or fully enjoying life.

I’ve been there myself — drowning in “what ifs” — and I’ve learned that breaking free starts with self-compassion and perspective shifts. Tools like mindfulness, journaling, and Intention Tapping help reframe limiting beliefs, recognise your unique value, and quiet the inner critic.

You don’t need to be perfect or have external approval to be enough. You already are.

Grief and Loss

Grief can come from many kinds of loss — a loved one, a treasured pet, a job, a home, a friendship, or even a dream. While grief is a natural part of life, it can sometimes feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Grief is unpredictable; emotions can appear unexpectedly and shift from moment to moment. Over time, these feelings often ease naturally, but sometimes they linger longer than expected. That’s when gentle guidance can help you process your emotions, uncover any underlying feelings, and find a path toward healing.

Procrastination

Ah, procrastination — the art of wanting to achieve something but somehow… not quite getting there. You try, you plan, you even start… and then the couch, the snacks, or just “life” mysteriously get in the way. It can feel like running a marathon with no finish line, while occasionally tripping over hurdles you didn’t even see.

Sometimes it helps to take a step back, look at the patterns, notice the closed doors, and figure out where you actually want to go. You don’t have to do it alone — having someone to reflect back without judgment can help you navigate obstacles, find your path, and finally cross that finish line (even if you do it with a coffee in hand).

Caring for Loved Ones

Caring for family and friends can be deeply rewarding — and also incredibly demanding. The emotional, physical, and mental load often brings a mix of love, gratitude, stress, and exhaustion, especially when you’re balancing other responsibilities.

That’s why it’s vital to care for yourself too. Prioritising rest, setting healthy boundaries, and reaching out for support makes caregiving more sustainable — and allows you to show up with greater compassion.

Sometimes what helps most is simply having someone to talk to — someone who will listen without judgment or unsolicited advice. A safe space to share can ease the weight you’re carrying and remind you that you don’t have to do this alone.
